The Houston Business Journal’s sixth annual 40 Under 40 honorees the Class of 2014 are revealed. The winners represent the best and brightest young professionals in Houston.
This year HBJ received an astounding number of nominations more than 700 and more than 400 applications for the 40 Under 40 honorees.
The honorees have started their own companies, as well as successful charities, and are setting the bar high for young professionals across the nation with their job creation and impact on society.
The panel of judges for this year included Candace Beeke, HBJ’s editor in chief; Scott Frankel, vice president of Frankel Building Group and a 40 Under 40 alum; John Allen, former senior vice president of law at Halliburton Co. (NYSE: HAL) and the former executive vice president and general counsel at Paradigm Ltd.; Emily Wilkinson, HBJs print editor; and Katy Stewart, HBJs social engagement manager.
